Unlocking the full potential of the Cabrini Malvern campus
We are pleased to share our involvement in the planned major expansion at Cabrini Hospital, Malvern.
Over the past five years, HSPC has played a pivotal role in leading the master planning process for the redevelopment of Cabrini Health, outlining a comprehensive vision for the campus’s transformation over the next thirty years.
This first phase of development is a critical milestone in unlocking the full potential of the Cabrini Malvern campus, setting the stage for it to continue serving the needs of the local community and beyond for decades to come.
At the heart of this redevelopment, HSPC has led both the architectural design and health planning for a new, multi-level clinical building to be constructed on the prominent Malvern campus, located on Wattletree Road in Melbourne. This new facility will significantly increase the overall bed capacity at Cabrini Hospital, expanding its ability to meet growing patient demand. Additionally, the development will improve the overall hospitalentry experience, providing patients and visitors with a more seamless, welcoming arrival.
Beyond the new clinical spaces, the project will include important expansions to key hospital services, including the operating theatres, consulting suites, and a full redevelopment of the emergency department. These enhancements are designed to improve patient care, operational efficiency, and the overall healthcare experience at Cabrini.
This project is the latest chapter in our ongoing relationship with Cabrini Health, which has seen the successful delivery of several critical healthcare facilities in recent years. Notably, we recently completed the innovative Lisa Thurin Women’s Health Centre and expanded theatre services—projects that have contributed greatly to Cabrini’s ability to provide cutting-edge care to its community.
As we continue to work closely with Cabrini Health, this redevelopment marks a significant step in shaping the future of healthcare in Melbourne and beyond, ensuring Cabrini remains a leading provider of high-quality, patient-centred care for many years to come.
