Avive Clinic Mornington Peninsula is a mental health facility located near Port Phillip Bay in Mornington, designed to provide a serene and healing environment. Our team reimagined an existing building, transforming it into a space that supports the holistic well-being of its users. With 60 beds, the facility focuses on fostering connections to nature and enhancing patient wellness.
Sustainability is at the heart of the design, achieved through the repurposing of an existing aged care facility. This approach significantly reduces the project's environmental impact while setting a new benchmark for responsible healthcare architecture .
Moving away from traditional hospital designs, Avive Clinic Mornington Peninsula embraces a coastal-inspired aesthetic. The use of natural materials and soothing neutral tones creates a tranquil and restorative atmosphere that complements its scenic coastal setting. This patient-centric approach emphasizes the creation of a welcoming, rehabilitative environment that supports both mental and physical healing.
