Footscray, Melbourne is undergoing a healthcare evolution, with HSPC leading the design, planning, and execution of the Development Facilitation Program application of the nine-storey healthcare facility. With a focus on innovation and a goal of achieving a 5-star Greenstar accreditation, the hub is designed to cater to short-stay surgical care needs.
Erica Healthcare Partners, recognising the chronic shortage of private hospital capacity in the Western suburbs, aims to revitalise the Footscray community. The hub is strategically positioned to alleviate pressure on the inner-west public health system, working in tandem with the new Footscray (Public)Hospital.
The development will feature 5 operating theatres, a cardiac investigation unit, a dedicated endoscopy unit, 48 inpatient rooms, medical imaging facilities, and specialised consulting services.
