Robina Private Hospital

Gold Coast, QLD

Staged masterplan expansion for escalating demand in the region.

Robina Private Hospital is currently undergoing design development, featuring a ten-storey building situated on the Gold Coast.

With a focus on addressing the escalating demand for health services in the region, the project takes the form of a hybrid tenanted building, incorporating acute care and mental health facilities. This addition to the Robina Health Precinct will contribute to the expansion of inpatient beds and operating theatres, specifically catering to day surgery cases.

Creating a new visual identity for Robina Private Hospital will elevate the health precinct and provide an asset to the community. In alignment with our commitment to environmental responsibility, the project aims to attain a 5-star green rating. This goal is pursued through the application of our tailored ESG principles. Additionally, external balcony terraces are integrated on all levels, not only enhancing the aesthetic appeal but also promoting biophilic design, aligning with our dedication to sustainable and nature-inspired architecture.

The inspiration of the building form has been drawn from the local context, in particular the canal network of The Gold Coast and the sedimentary layered rock in the area. Inclusion of irregular curves used in both interior and exterior architecture symbolise all the waterways in the area with The Gold Coast, having the largest constructed canal network in the southern hemisphere.
