HSPC played a vital role in the significant expansion of South West Healthcare's Warrnambool District Base Hospital, providing a comprehensive suite of services encompassing master planning, design, documentation, and meticulous delivery. This transformative endeavor included the creation of new Inpatient Wards, an expanded Operating Theatre Unit, Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Department, Medical Imaging facilities, Obstetrics & Gynaecology Unit, Palliative Care, Mental Health, and Community Health Services.
The architectural aesthetic of the building, carefully curated in both form and materiality, pays homage to the maritime heritage intrinsic to southwestern Victoria, creating a visual narrative that resonates with the local community.
